Default Looking to Buy a Stock or 2, Have a ?

Within the next couple of weeks im looking to buy a stock or 2. Im not a BIG time market player, but do pay attention the market. Im not getting crazy{money wise} in buying these stocks. I have my eye on a couple, but am not completly sold on them. Was wondering if anyone has any info on any stocks or are personally invested in any that they feel good about. Im looking at keeping the price definetly under $10 a share and would actually like to keep it to under $5 a share. Any info you guys have would be great!

Thanks

Coach which 2 stocks are you currently looking at?

And are you a short term investor or long term?

Monte, a few im looking at are Dynegy{DYN},Las Vegas Sands{LVS},Avis Budget Group{CAR}, and one I just mite put a little in because its so cheap is China Cablecom Holding{CABL}, and whether im a short term or long term investor, i guess the answer is kind of both, If I have something and it shoots up, and I think its about maxed out il cash in, on the other hand if its not really doing much il let it sit and just forget about it. Like I said im not completly sold on these. Since 3 of the 4 are under $5 ashare thinking might be worth the risk.

What are your stocks? I would look for stocks with close to no debit. I just rode PLNR up from $.40 to $1.29 and STEC from $4.50 to $13.70, I still like both of them.

I don't like those stocks at all. You're basically gambling. To risky for my blood.

Problem right now is a lot of stocks have rallied up a lot from where they were at 1-2 months ago. CIEN is one that I like, but it has moved up quite a lot in the last 1-2 months.

Anyone with some time check out CYDE, and let me know what you think. Looks solid, and thinking about grabbing aliitle. Maybe someone with more knowledge of the market might see something I dont.

Another Winning Trade: Trend Trader

Might be worth taking a look at this place. Their percentage of winning stock trades seems unreal though.
