MLB Odds: Rangers Visit Jays this Tuesday

The Toronto Blue Jays have been a different team since the MLB’s trade deadline, and they’ll look to continue that solid play against the Texas Rangers this Tuesday. Since calling up Bo Bichette on July 29 after trading veteran infielder Eric Sogard, the Blue Jays have gone 9-5, and are coming off of an impressive series split against the AL-leading New York Yankees. The Jays’ youth is embracing their time in the Majors, and that’s resulting in some highly entertaining baseball that fans can get excited about.

This Tuesday, the young Jays will play the second of three games against the 59-58 Texas Rangers. Left-hander Thomas Pannone will try to take advantage of the Jays’ momentum, as the sophomore struggled mightily in his previous outing; he lasted just 2.1 innings and surrendered seven earned runs to the mighty Yankees.

The Jays’ offence will be up against one of the better pitchers in the AL this season. The Rangers will give the ball to Lance Lynn, who impressed in 2018-19 with a 3.60 ERA and 1.190 WHIP over 155 innings pitched. The veteran is also tied for third in the Majors with 14 wins this season. Tune in to see if the Jays can continue their winnings ways, with first pitch scheduled for 7:07 PM ET.
