    NHL

Washington Capitals -200 vs Arizona Coyotes 7:05 PM
    1.00/0.50

    YTD
    4-4 = 50% -1.49

I realize that this pick is rather juicy but here is why I am going with it

The Coyotes have 5 total points this year, which is 31st in the NHL. They've scored 39 goals while giving up 62 scores, which has them ranked 20th and 1st respectively. They have had 50 power play chances and scored 8 goals on those opportunities for a percentage of 16%. That is 22nd in the league. The Coyotes have given up 36 power play opportunities and surrendered 10 goals on those chances for a penalty kill percentage of 72%, ranking them 28th when short-handed. They average 31 shots per contest and as a team shoot 8.37% for the year. They allow 32 shot attempts to their opposition per game and have a team save percentage of 87%, which is 30th in the league.
Of course it is up to you if you want to go with this pick

Calgary Flames -175 over Vancouver Canucks 9:05 p.m.
    1.00/0.57

    YTD
    5-4 = 55% -0.99

The Canucks are coming off a late Monday night game and now must go on the road where they have had very little success. Calgary is playing some solid hockey lately and have been shutting it down on the defensive end holding teams under three goals most of the time this season. While the the game is rather juicy (now that never scared me), you have to like the Flames to win this game on home ice.

The Canucks have been a team that really has come together under the basis of being a no star team. Just look at the leading point scorer Brock Boeser. In that is the strength of the Canucks who are going to be able to outshine the Golden Knights here. The Canucks will win this game here 5-2 without any big star stepping up in the game.

Don't fade my NHL picks, yet. Two wins in a row. Nothing to get excited about but in the correct direction.
