My Bank Cancelled my ATM Card
This past Sunday I tried to deposit money into my bodog account like I have done in the past using the same ATM/Debit card I used on Thanksgiving day.
Transaction was declined....
Tried again, declined.
Oh Well (worked out to my advantage because i would have losed anyway).
Went to the store and used the card OK...
Tuesday went to get gas and declined, my wife freaked.
Come to find out the bank cancelled the card because of this. New policy aparently.
Was telling a friend at work and he said a similar thing happend to him once (different bank). He said the bank warned him though.

what bank? mine charges 1.50 fee everytime i load $50 Bank Of America

TD Bank I just found a letter that stated that this would happen. I shoulda read the whole thing

Yes similar happened to me. I deposited money in my account and then went out to eat. Went to pay and the card was declined. I was pissed and argued then I know several people there and one said he would pay it and I could drop money off next day. I called bank and they said they put a freeze on my account until they could verify I made the charge. It worked out but not without embarrasment. I made a deposit this month and the bank called me immediately to verify I made the charge again. This time they never put a freeze on my card. Atleast they never cancelled it.

on $500 you're looking at $10.50 which the book generally will cover by putting it into your account. I just noticed moneygram can be done online as well, however the receiver must have an account with moneygram. Never tried the online version.

yeah. It stated the change inpolicy. Got the new card but not without running out of heat first.

This happened to me at Sportsbook.com. Used my CC to deposit. Next day went to use it at the store and they told me it was declined. Called the CC company they said because of the suspicious activity on my card. Had to explain the whole situation. Real pain in the ass.

It worked two weeks before this. Oh well. I got a new local who inflats his lines which is good for me when I take dogs.
